Evaluation of YeongDong's Chemistry Reagents for the Autoanalyzer

Abstract
|
|
|
Background:
There are a few Korean products of chemistry reagents for autoanalyzer Most of laboratory have used imported foreign chemistry autoanalyzers and reagents. Recently the Yeongdong pharmaceutical company developed 13 autochemistry reagents. We
evaluated the analytical performance of these using Hitachi 747 autoanalyzer.
Methods:
The characteristics evaluated were precision, accuracy, linearity and comparison with those results by foreign reagents using the commercial quality control materials and patients sera.
Results:
The CVs of within-run precision were ranged from 0.2 to 7.1%, of between-run precison from 0.0 to 8.8% and of day-to-day precision from 1.3 to 3.0%. The recovery rates were 83.9 to 125.9%. The linearity was excellent and the correlation study
with
the foreign reagents was very good (r>=0.927, p=0.001).
conclusion:
the newly developed YeongDong's thirteen chemistry reagents revealed acceptable analytical precisions, accuracy and good correlation with the foreign reagents. We conclude that the reagents can give a precise and reliable result in
autoanalyzer.
